Alternators

Each alternator core is thoroughly inspected, completely disassembled, and all wear parts are discarded. All hard parts are chemically degreased, cleaned and inspected for damage and conformance with OEM specifications. Any part that does not meet OEM specifications is replaced to meet specifications. Following assembly, all alternators are given a thorough final inspection and tested to ensure like new performance. 

Rectifiers are inspected against OEM specifications. Diodes are load tested and checked for forward and reverse leakage and replaced as needed to comply with OEM specifications. Rotors are tested for amperage, resistance, and insulation quality. Rotor shafts are checked for straightness and balance and are replaced as needed to comply with OEM specifications. Slip rings are inspected, machined, and polished. They are checked for run-out and replaced as need to comply with OEM specifications. Stators are inspected for phase balance, insulation quality, and rated output andare replaced as needed to comply with OEM specifications. Voltage regulators are inspected and tested for voltage cut-off and output functions. Voltage regulators that do not comply with OEM specifications are replaced. Bearings, brushes, and springs are replace with new OEM quality parts.
