Engines

Each engine and cylinder head core is thoroughly inspected, completely disassembled, and all wear parts are discarded. All hard parts are chemically degreased, cleaned and inspected for damage and conformance with OEM specifications. Any part that does not meet OEM specifications is replaced to meet specifications. Following assembly, all engine and cylinder heads are given a thorough final inspection and tested to ensure like new performance. Engine testing analyzes temperature, oil pressure, compression, and overall operating condition. A comprehensive test report is included with each remanufactured engine, along with an oil sample test kit for future analysis. Cylinder heads are pressure and magna-flux tested to inspect for potential defects. The head face is precision machined to OEM finish specifications. All new valve guides and seals are installed in each cylinder head. Camshaft bores for all overhead cam configurations are calibrated for size,ovality, taper, and alignment. Valves are inspected for head thickness, damage, and stem wear. All valves that do not comply with OEM standards are replaced. Valve seats are precision machined to limit run-out to .001 of an inch or less (.001 inch run-out/1 inch valve). Minimal run-out ensures proper seat angles, valve height, and valve seating. Valve springs are analyzed for squareness, free height, and compressed load length. Cylinder circumference is measured, and the block deck is inspected for warping and machined as needed to comply with OEM specifications. Diesel engines include injectors, injection pump, and fuel lines.
