DOT-Lok™ MPE - Transmission Shift Inhibitor
DOT-Lok MPE is a programmable speed sensitive shifting system used to prevent operators from changing vehicle direction when traveling above selected shift speeds and/or engine RPM levels. The transmission only engages a gear when the throttle is low enough and the delay time has elapsed. The delay allows RPMs to reduce before shifting occurs. By enabling the optional engine braking feature, the transmission remains in the gear for which the truck is traveling and the engine automatically idles down utilizing engine assisted braking. By enabling the optional auxiliary switch lockout, the transmission automatically shifts into neutral when the lockout switch activates and a pre-programmed period of time lapses. Most common lockout switches for this option are the seat and the inching pedal. DOT-Lok MPE is available for forklifts using electric shift solenoids only. To enable the engine brake feature, the forklift must be electronically governed.A uCal programming kit is required for initial setup and changes.

DOT-Lok™ MPE with Traction Control
DOT-Lok MPE is available as a stand-alone product or can be purchased with Traction Control. DOT-Lok Traction Control gives you all the features of the standard Smart Shift system unit plus traction control. Traction control prevents the drive tires from free spinning when a forklift operates on slick surfaces such as ice, oil, water, dust and ash covered surfaces. The system further limits tire spinning when the inching pedal is dumped at high engine RPMs.

uCal Programming Kit
The uCal Programming Kit provides an intuitive user interface where programming parameters can be stored and retrieved for later use. Programming parameters can also be printed on paper. The programming kit includes all necessary cables and software.Part Number: A000031510
