Engine Combustion Test Leak Kit
Locate blown gaskets, cracked heads, and cracked blocks quickly, as the test fluid will change color to indicate a leak. Quickly and easily detects leaks in all engine types.
With the engine idling, place the tester in the radiator filler neck and close off the overflow tube. Use a rubber syringe as directed to pull air from the radiator, through the liquid. If combustion gas is leaking into the cooling system, the test fluid will change from blue to yellow. The test fluid may be reused 6 or 7 times and returns to the original color when air is re-introduced after the test.
