Do I have an old style or new style pallet jack? Pallet jack identification can be determined by the serial number. Serial numbers for old style pallet jacks go up to 19900. Serial numbers for new style pallet jacks include the production date (eg. 10/04/00654).
What if I cannot locate the serial number? Another way to determine if you have an old style or new style jack is by looking for a grease zerk on the rocker arm shaft (see reference no. 310). Old style pallet jacks do not have a grease zerk. New style pallet jacks have a grease zerk located on the side of the rocker arm shaft.
