Water Pumps

Each water pump core is thoroughly inspected, completely disassembled, and all wear parts are discarded. All hard parts are chemically degreased, cleaned and inspected for damage and conformance with OEM specifications. Any part that does not meet OEM specifications is replaced to meet specifications. Following assembly, all water pumps are given a thorough final inspection and tested to ensure like new performance. Housings are placed in a burn-off oven and undergo a steel shot cleaning treatment. Capscrew and pipe plug threads are inspected for wear and re-threaded as needed. Bearings are replaced with new OEM quality bearings. Seals are replaced with heavy duty seals or upgraded to marine style seals with ceramic seat assemblies where possible. Impellers are inspected and replaced as needed to comply with OEM specifications. Pulleys are inspected and re-threaded. Grooves are cut to comply with OEM specifications.Pulley bores are gauged to comply with OEM specifications and replaced as needed. Cadmium plated pipe plugs, cover gaskets, mounting gaskets, plated hardware, and retaining rings are always replaced with new OEM quality parts.
