Engine monitoring system shuts down the engine when any of the following conditions occur:
- High transmission temperature (>230degrees F)
- High coolant temperature (>225 degrees F)
- Low engine oil pressure (<3.5 PSI)
- Low fuel level (<1/8 tank)
If any any of the above conditions occur, a mini-siren will sound and a dash light will illuminate for 30 seconds indicating imminent engine shut down.
If the engine is not turned off within the 30 second warning period, the engine will shut down. It can be restarted by cycling the key switch. If any of the above conditions exist, the truck will again shut down in 30 seconds.
