Engine monitoring system shuts down the engine after a 30 second warning period. Includes sounding a buzzer and illuminating a light on the dash when any of the following occur:
- High transmission temperature (>230degrees F)
- High coolant temperature (>225 degrees F)
- Low engine oil pressure (<3.5 PSI)
- Low fuel level (<1/8 tank)
If the engine is not shut off within the 30 second warning period, the engine will shut down. It can be restarted by cycling the key switch. If any of the above conditions exist, the truck will again shut down in 30 seconds.
The engine will also shut down after 2.5 seconds if the operator unlatches the seatbelt or leaves the seat without first setting the parking brake and will shut down five minutes later with the truck being left in this situation.
